History

Located in the heart of Kansas City, Faxon Elementary is surrounded by the distinguished Faxon neighborhood and sits just to the southwest of the historic Paseo traffic light.

The original Faxon Elementary, just down the street from the current building, was retired from KCPS and was remodeled to serve as senior housing for our neighbors. The current building, previously a Montessori school, now houses kindergarten through sixth grade students and offers a variety of programs and activities to engage the unique Faxon students.
